About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Danny A. Chambers (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data you provide when using this website (dannyachambers.com). It is written in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

I take your privacy seriously. I collect only the minimum data necessary, I do not sell it to anyone, and I do not use it for advertising.

What personal data I collect

I only collect personal data you voluntarily submit through the Free AI Opportunity Audit form. The fields collected are:

  • Full name
  • Work email address
  • Company name
  • Company size (optional)
  • A description of your workflow or challenge
  • A record that you gave explicit consent before submitting the form

I do not ask for, and you should not include, sensitive personal data (such as health information, financial account details, or government ID numbers) in any form field.

I do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or behavioural tracking tools on this website. Server logs may record your IP address and browser user-agent as part of normal web hosting operations; these are not linked to your identity.

Lawful basis for processing

I rely on your explicit consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) as the lawful basis for processing data you submit via the contact form. You must tick the consent checkbox before submitting; without it, the form will not be processed. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing me via the contact page.

How I use your data

Your data is used solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or audit request
  • Assess whether my services are a good fit for your needs
  • Follow up on any agreed next steps from an initial conversation

I will not use your data for unsolicited marketing, share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes, or pass it to recruiters.

Who I share your data with

At present, form submissions are handled server-side and are not automatically forwarded to any third-party service. If I integrate an email delivery provider (such as Resend) or a CRM, this policy will be updated to name those processors, and I will ensure an appropriate data processing agreement is in place before any data is transferred to them.

I will only disclose your personal data to third parties where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of myself or others.

How long I keep your data

Enquiry data is retained for as long as is reasonably necessary to manage the business relationship. If you have not engaged as a client within 12 months of your last contact, I will delete your enquiry data. Client project records may be retained for up to 7 years to meet statutory accounting obligations.

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below).

International transfers

I do not intentionally transfer your personal data outside the United Kingdom. If a third-party processor is introduced that involves international transfers, I will ensure adequate safeguards are in place (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent mechanism) and will update this policy accordingly.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data I hold about you
  • Rectification — ask me to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data (subject to any legal obligations I must meet)
  • Restriction — ask me to stop processing your data in certain circumstances
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@dannyachambers.com or use the contact page. I will respond within one calendar month.

Cookies

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for the site to function. No advertising or analytics cookies are set. Please see the Cookie Policy for full details.

How to complain

If you have a concern about how I handle your personal data, please contact me first at privacy@dannyachambers.com so I have the opportunity to put things right. If you remain dissatisfied, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy as the website or my data practices change. Material changes will be noted by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
